Setting History flag to "N" in advance Search - for any application

 

Setting default value in the History field in the "More Search Fields|Current Query:" dialog.

Steps to set the default value "N" for the status field in the "More Search Fields|Current Query:" dialog box:

1) Go to the Application Designer application.

2) Open the SR application.

3) Export the SR application definition as sr.xml

4) Open sr.xml using Notepad

5) Add the line <defaultvalue dataattribute="historyflag" datasrc="mainrecord" defaulttype="query" id="999999" value="N" /> like the screenshot below.

Save and reimport it.

6) Go to the SR application. Click Advanced Search/More Search Fields

You can now see the default value in the Status field in the "More Search Fields|Current Query:" dialog.
