Pre-req checker for ICD / Maximo -- Required for Installation
Are you planning to install Maximo or ICD (IBM Control Desk)?
If yes, then once you get the server for installation the first activity that ned to be performed is to check the Pre-requisites. IBM provides a batch file and .sh file for windows and Unix/Linux environment.
Below are the steps requires to check the pre-requisites.
1. Navigate to the path where you extracted all the binaries.
"/opt/ICD/Install/MWInstallerRepository/files/com/ibm/tivoli/pae/prereq/SystemRequirements" under this path you will get tpae_req_check.bat and tpae_req_check.sh fiel based on operating system you need to execute the command.
Note: - Once you navigate to "/opt/ICD/Install/MWInstallerRepository/files/" you won't get com folder, for that you need to unjar the TPAE prereq jar file.
Below is the example, as my system is RHEL, so running the tpae_req_check.sh file. and the output is shown below.

Note: In the output the properties that all are failed need to be corrected as per the expected columns. After that only we need to proceed further for the installation else it will create an issue in the installation process.
