Using ICD (IBM Control Desk), We can manage any types of devices in an enterprise. Devices could be Storage, Network, Servers, Mobiles, End-Points (Laptop, Desktps etc), Assets, Software Licences etc.

But here a small note point that we need some different tools as well for discovering and managing the relations between them like TADDM, BigFix, Netcool etc. These tools are responsible to discover the devices in the Organization (Deployed Assets) and also for making the topology of those devices.
